J.L. Johansson is an occupational therapist and author. She enjoys dark comedy and that comes through in her work. Originally from Southern California, she currently lives in Sweden with her husband, three kids and two cats. She often collaborates with her kids to create the artwork for her books. Her son, Logan, created the book covers for “The Un-Kind” and “B.I.R.D.s,” and illustrated their children’s book, “The Sheep Who Wouldn’t Shed.”
